Professor Dominic Upton is a senior academic with a range of leadership, teaching and research experience. Professor Upton is a skilled investigator, who has substantial experience in leading successful funded research projects exploring the complex link between pain, stress and wound healing.

Dr Penney Upton

Dr Upton has a particular research interest in the impact of health care practices on the health and wellbeing of individuals with chronic or life threatening illness. She is an experienced researcher who has supervised a number of multi-centre projects nationally and disseminated these to national and international audiences.

Ann Marie Dunk

Ann Marie is the Clinical Nurse Consultant from the Tissue Viability Unit at Canberra Hospital. She has led important work that has resulted in reductions to the numbers of hospital acquired pressure injuries at Canberra hospital. In 2015 she was awarded the ACT nurse of the year.

Judith Barker

Judith is a Nurse Practitioner-Wound Management for Community Health in the ACT. She has set up Nurse Practitioner wound clinics across the ACT and also receives referrals for assessment of patients in their home and Aged Care facilities. She has over 20 years experience in wound and stoma management in both the acute and community setting. She is currently the AWMA Secretary, Vice Chair of the Venous Leg Ulcer Guideline Development Committee and Vice President of the ACTWMA.
